Hakuna Matata Program facilitates and monitors the behavioural change in Mental, Sexual, Reproductive Health, and Rights among LBQ persons in Uganda. We carry out community engagements and capacity building regarding sexual and reproductive health, and rights enabling legal and policy framework, budget allocation, capacity building, and sexual practices behavioural change.
The Program attempts to change and challenge policies and practices that affect LBQ persons
in our country through research and documentation. Our work is about changing decision-making processes, making them equity-based, and ensuring that LBQ women’s mental and health concerns are on the agenda.
