Behavioral change conversation at the Rella House of Hope has been a stepping stone for many occupants to think of their journey in and out of the shelter as behavior is key is making right decisions that could impact on one’s recovery, business and also mindset. Healthy behavior is one of the most important things people can do to live long and healthy lives
Kyoto Conversations at the Rella House Hope have also been a way to interact and share different stories so as to be able to move past our traumas and struggles. This has been a form of healing and inspiration as through stories we have been able to live as testimonies and inspiration for other to heal and make use of the chance we all have got. This has also made healing journeys shorter for most as we believe when one shares the burden lightens.
Community outreach/ community engagement in Bukoto. In partnership with Marpi, Rella conducted a free HIV and consultation. Community members showed up in big numbers and gave recommendations of what different services the community needs.
With the help of the Chairman LC1 we created a section in the chairman’s office where we can provide Free HIV self-testing kits and Condoms to reduce the spread of HIV in young adults in the Bukoto community.
